Billing

A detection is Segmentik's billable unit. A detection is triggered by calling the detect() method through the SDK, which analyzes the user and the device, and responds with a detectionId.

Segmentik is billing customers by the amount of detections in their plan. You can check out all pricing plans to find what suits you best.

Billing FAQ

How do I know which plan I need?

Segmentik works best when you integrate it on all the pages of your website. With that being said, you can integrate Segmentik only in specific pages, like login or registration page for example. In that case, you should check what is the number monthly of visits that go through these pages to estimate the number of detections you need.

Does backend API requests billed?

Requests to Segmentik's API https://api.segmentik.com are not billed.

Failed requests are billed?

No, failed requests (HTTP 500) are not billed.

When is my credit card get charged?

Segmentik billing works on a monthly basis and credit card is getting charged depending on the day you started your subscription. For example: if you subscribed on March 3rd, then the next charge will be on April 3rd.
